Alweer met excuses voor het Engels....
Driving electrical – consumption on 31/03/2012 – 1578 km driven….By the end of March we passed the 1500km boundary in our Ampera. Doing 80km a day to work and back + some small trips in the weekend brings this on rather fast. As of next week this amount will come down because I’ve just changed jobs. I’ll be doing less then half.
The numbers from the 6th untill the 31st of March:There is a total of 1578 km on the car.
Gas : 293 km of that were driven on gas when I added 19,3l last week bringing the average gas consumption for that distance to 6,58 l/100km. Most of this was used on highways and good secondary roads. Since then I’ve done 7,5km more on gas, bringing the total to 300,5 of 1578
Calculated this gives 1,223 l/100km. The car indicates 1,6.
This also means that the potential total distance on gas amounts to just under 532 km, which is more then the car actually indicates….
I’ve also noticed that for one reason or another, the predicted range on gas differs depending on the moment. I’ve had it between 456 and 488…, without using any gas in between?
Electrical:1277 km total of which 944 charged at home and 333 at my workplace.
() I use a temporary set-up at work since I’ll be leaving the site soon. I’m capable of charging without any problem at 10A using a standard 3 x 1,5 gauge, 20 meter extension cord connected to standard plug inside the building. No problems so far, so I’m really wondering what connections were used to give the problems Opel mentions as reason for invoking the charger reduction?
For the 944km I used exactly 220kW or an average of 4,3km per kW. According to how you drive, this can vary a lot. I’ve done up to 7,7km /kW bringing the range to exactly…80,1 km
The average gives a theoretical range of 4,3km*10,5kW = 45,5km, which is pretty weird, because I’ve only once managed to get below 50km of range?
Cost :My electrical cost for the 944 km comes to 39,88€ at about 0,18€/kW
With my B-Class this would have been 85,34€ or 2,14 times more.
Since I don’t know what my employer pays for electricity, I can not make a total cost. It is safe to say that it will be quiet a bit lower, even then an efficient diesel. Not to mention the drastic reduction of carbon footprint, which over time will be even more important…(At home the car is charged using a 100% green contract….)
